Engineering

  • Senior Security Engineer

    • Job Description

    • Oversee and further develop all aspects of Goodmail security engineering needs
    • Oversee all aspects of certificate management and further develop certificate management processes
    • Working with Goodmail Operations to further improve network security
    • Security audits for new product offerings and technologies
    • Monitor current security trends and vulnerabilities related to the Goodmail business
    • Reports to VP of Engineering

    Requirements

    • Excellent C/C++ and/or Java skills (having both is a big plus)
    • 3+ years of experience as a security engineer
    • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
    • Team player
    • Startup experience is desirable
    • Strong understanding of PKI, CA, Internet protocols and all aspects of web security
    • Knowledge of OpenSSL and related tools
    • Experience with hardware security devices is a big plus
    • Experience with email and email authentication protocols such as DK/DKIM is a plus
    • Common sense
    • Degree in CS or related field
  • Web Application Engineer

    • Job Description

    • Further develop Goodmails product offerings that allow rich active content within email messages.
    • Work with Goodmails partners and customers to jointly develop the next generation of email
    •  based web applications such as in-email bill pay and shopping applications, in-email streaming  video, games etc.
    • Work with Goodmails product management team and engineering organization to communicate technical requirements for new email based applications
    • Work together with security engineering on security validation for 3rd party email based applications developed for the Goodmail platform.
    • Reports to VP of Engineering

    Requirements

    • Excellent JavaScript and Flash/ActionScript skills
    • Java skills are a big plus
    • Experience with Flex is a plus
    • 3+ years of experience in the field of Web Application development
    • Experience with SilverLight is a plus
    • Knowledge of email, SMTP and MIME
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Understanding of cross domain applications and/or cloud computing
    • PHP is a plus
